Introductory Analysis of Linked Health Data short-course (available online)
Monday 20 November – Friday 24 November 2023
The University of Western Australia, School of Population and Global Health is pleased to advise that its Introductory Analysis of Linked Health Data five-day short-course is now available fully online as part of our 2023 Summer School program.
The course provides students with a theoretical grounding on each topic, followed by a hands-on training session on the corresponding computing solutions, with the course offered in SPSS, SAS, Stata and R.
This course is being coordinated by Professor David Preen, UWA Chair in Public Health. The training introduces the topic of linked health data analysis at an introductory to intermediate level and provides the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and skills in the analysis of linked data. It fills a gap in research training opportunities by combining the principles of healthcare epidemiology with hands-on practical exercises including the implementation of computing syntax solutions.
Further details of the short-course are available at: Introductory Analysis of Linked Health Data
The course is suitable for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers. If you are interested in completing this unit as professional development please use our shopping cart to register.
The closing date for these enrolments is: COB Friday 10 November, 2023
