AEA ACT first formed in late 2013 and was then re-initiated in 2015. Its role is to improve networking and collaboration across epidemiologists in the region and to provide a resource for continuing professional development. Anyone is welcome to attend meetings, i.e. they do not have to be a member of AEA. We particularly encourage students to attend. Meetings are held bi-monthly. Meetings for the remainder of 2016 are 15 June, 17 August, 19 October. In 2016 the AEA ACT organised he 23rd Annual Conference of the Australasian Epidemiological Association in Canberra from 14-16 September.
