Teaching Epidemiology Special Interest Group

Convenors: Dr Davoud Pourmarzi and Dr Linda Murray

The Teaching Epidemiology Special Interest Group aims to strengthen epidemiology and public health workforce development in the region by improving the quality of teaching epidemiology in university settings. The objectives of the SIG are:

  • Create opportunities for sharing knowledge and skills in teaching epidemiology among members;
  • Design and facilitate activities to promote best practice in teaching epidemiology; and
  • Facilitate collaborations in teaching epidemiology among members.

To achieve these objectives the SIG will organise at least two meetings each year and communicate and share resources with members through group emails and the use of the AEA website and social media.

If you are teaching Epidemiology or would like to learn more about teaching Epidemiology, we would like to have you as a member. Please contact the convenors if you have any questions.
