The Moana-Pasifika Chapter (MPC) was established under the auspices of the Australasian Epidemiological Association (AEA), to represent professionals in the Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICT) who are collectively focused on developing and promoting the practice and training of epidemiology within PICT.  

Through collaborative relationships with other AEA chapters, regional and global epidemiological bodies we aim to support and enhance PICT Health Research Unit capabilities in epidemiology and advocate for an increase in the number of PICT epidemiologists in and based in the Pacific Islands. Our group meets regularly and disseminates information and events of interest to our MPC members. Please contact us if you would like to join us.
